Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy

At Valesi, every product is created with precision and care, and we want you to be delighted with your purchase. However, should you need to return or exchange an item, this Policy sets out the conditions and process in a transparent and definitive manner. By placing an order with Valesi, you agree to the following terms:

Conditions for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.

  • All original tags, labels, quality seals, and packaging must remain intact and unaltered. Returns will be automatically declined if seals are broken or tampered with.

  • A return or exchange request must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

  • Products must be returned in the same packaging they were delivered in (or equally secure packaging). Items damaged due to poor return packaging will not be accepted.

Valesi reserves the right to reject any return that does not comply with these conditions.

Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

Certain categories of products are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable. For reasons of hygiene, safety, and customization, Valesi will not accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances for the following:

  • Final Sale or Clearance Products: Items sold as part of a final sale, clearance, or marked “non-returnable” at the time of purchase are irrevocably excluded from return or exchange.

  • Customized or Made-to-Order Products: When you select the custom style option or request sizing/alterations outside our standard range, your order is produced exclusively for you. Given the effort, craftsmanship, and resources required to create such pieces, as well as the inability to reuse or re-stock them, Valesi cannot accept returns or exchanges for these items.

By placing an order in these categories, you acknowledge and agree that the sale is final, binding, and non-reversible

Items Returned in Unacceptable Condition

Every product returned to Valesi is subjected to a strict and uncompromising quality inspection upon arrival at our facility. Returns that fail to meet our standards will be immediately rejected.

Returns will be declined if the item shows any of the following:

  • Signs of Use: Garments that appear worn, washed, altered, or soiled in any way, including visible stains, deodorant marks, perfume, makeup, or any indication of prior wear.

  • Damage: Tears, cuts, pulled threads, abrasions, or any form of physical damage not present at the time of original delivery.

  • Missing Elements: Products returned without their original tags, labels, protective covers, seals, or packaging, or where such elements have been tampered with.

  • Improper Handling: Items returned in a crushed, creased, or poorly packed condition that results in damage during transit.

If your return is found to be unacceptable under any of these conditions:

  • The product will be sent back to you at your expense;

  • No refund, replacement, or store credit will be issued; and

  • Valesi’s determination in such matters shall be final and binding.

Process for Returns & Exchanges

  • Initiate Request: To begin a return or exchange, you must contact us at returns@valesi.com within 14 days of delivery, providing your order number and a clear reason for the request. Requests made beyond this period will not be entertained.

  • Approval & Instructions: Once your request is reviewed, our team will notify you of the approval status and provide detailed packaging guidelines and courier instructions. Items must be shipped back exactly as instructed to avoid rejection.

  • Ship Back Safely: Unless the product is proven faulty or damaged at the time of original delivery, return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Products must be packaged securely and in accordance with the instructions provided by Valesi to avoid any damage in transit. At the time of pickup, our authorized logistics partner will capture photographic evidence of the item’s condition. This image will serve as the official record of the apparel’s status at the point of collection. If, upon inspection at our facility, the item is found to be damaged and the pickup image shows it was collected in that state, the onus will rest entirely on you as the customer, and the return will be rejected with no refund or exchange.

  • Inspection: Upon receipt of the returned product, our quality team will conduct a strict inspection. Only if the product passes inspection will your refund or exchange be processed.

  • Refundable Amount: If your return is approved, Valesi will refund only the amount paid for the apparel/product itself. Shipping charges paid at the time of the original order are non-refundable under any circumstances. By making a purchase on our Site, you expressly agree to this clause. This principle is further reinforced in our legal disclaimers, and it remains your responsibility as a customer to review and understand these terms before completing a purchase.

Valesi’s decision on the acceptance or rejection of returns, and the calculation of the refundable amount, shall be final and binding.

Refunds

  • Mode of Refund: Refunds will be processed only via bank transfer or through Valesi store credits, depending on the original mode of payment.

    • For Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI payments: Refunds will be processed through the same payment gateway used for your purchase. The credit will typically reflect within 12-14 business days, subject to your bank’s processing timelines.

    • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refunds may be provided either as Valesi store credits (redeemable against future purchases) or, if you prefer, as a direct bank transfer. To process a bank transfer, you must provide accurate bank account details (account holder name, account number, IFSC code, and bank name). Refunds are typically initiated within 3–5 business days from the date of approval, subject to verification of the details submitted. Once initiated, the refund will typically reflect within 12-14 business days. Valesi will not be liable for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by you.

  • Verification: Refunds will be initiated only after the returned product has been received at our warehouse/store and has successfully cleared our quality inspection. Customers must provide complete and accurate bank details (account holder name, account number, IFSC code, and bank name) if requested. Valesi will not be liable for delays or failed transfers caused by incomplete or incorrect details provided by you.

  • Timelines: Approved refunds are usually processed within 12-14 business days from the completion of the quality check. The exact time for the amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • Non-Compliance: Refunds will not be issued if the product fails inspection (e.g., if it is found to be worn, used, damaged, or returned without tags, labels, or seals). In such cases, the item will be returned to you at your expense, and no further claim for refund will be entertained.

  • Important Note: Refunds will cover only the price of the apparel/product. Shipping charges paid at the time of the original order are non-refundable, and by making a purchase on our Site, you expressly agree to this condition.

Exchanges

  • All exchanges are strictly subject to stock availability at the time your return is processed.

  • If the requested size, colour, or product is unavailable, you may choose either a refund (processed in accordance with our Refund Policy) or a Valesi store credit, valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Store credits, once issued, are non-transferable, non-assignable, and cannot be encashed.

  • We currently do not provide direct replacements. To obtain a different size or product, you must first return the original item in accordance with our Return Policy, and then place a new order for the desired item.

By initiating an exchange request, you are deemed to have consented to these terms, which are designed to protect both you as a valued customer and us as a brand committed to fairness and integrity.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Every Valesi product undergoes rigorous quality checks before dispatch. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, the following applies:

  • Notification Window: You must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery by writing to returns@valesi.com, including your order number, a description of the defect, and clear photos of the item. Requests made beyond this window will not be entertained.

  • Verification: Our customer service team will assess your claim and, if approved, provide return instructions along with a free return shipping label.

  • Resolution Options: For verified cases, Valesi will cover return shipping and offer one of the following, at no additional cost:

    • A replacement of the same item (subject to stock availability),

    • An exchange for another product of equal value, or

    • A full refund processed back to the original payment method. Refunds will typically be completed within 5–7 business days after the item passes inspection at our facility.

  • Condition: Returned items must be in their original condition with tags, labels, and seals intact. Used, worn, or tampered items will not be accepted under this policy.

Valesi’s determination on whether an item is defective or incorrect shall be final and binding.

Cancellations

  • Eligibility: Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch. Once an item has entered the preparation or shipping stage, cancellation will not be permitted under any circumstance.

  • Modifications: If you wish to change an item or order, you must first cancel the eligible order (if still within the cancellation window) and then place a new order.

  • Finality: Once an order has been shipped, it is considered final and binding, and no cancellation requests will be accepted.

Valesi’s confirmation of dispatch shall be conclusive proof of shipment status, and our decision regarding eligibility for cancellation shall be final and binding.

Return Pickup Process

  • Initiation: Returns may be initiated by contacting us directly via WhatsApp or email (returns@valesi.com) within 15 days of delivery. Requests beyond this period will not be accepted.

  • Pickup: Once your request is approved, our logistics partner will attempt pickup directly from your address. Detailed packing instructions will be provided to you via email or WhatsApp, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the product is securely packed in accordance with those instructions.

  • Change of Mind: If you decide to retain the product after initiating a return, you must notify our Customer Care team immediately at support@valesi.com or by calling +919211227564 between 10 AM–5 PM, Monday–Saturday (excluding public holidays).

  • Photographic Record: At the time of pickup, our logistics agent will capture a photograph of the product to record its condition. This will serve as the official record for evaluating the return. If you have received a faulty or damaged item, you are strongly advised to provide clear photographic evidence of the defect at the time of initiating the return request. Doing so will ensure faster verification and smoother processing of your claim.

Valesi’s photographic records, combined with the evidence you provide, shall be treated as final and binding in determining the condition of the returned product.

Important Notes

  • Right to Deny: Valesi reserves the right to deny any return, refund, or exchange request that does not fully comply with this Policy. Our decision on such matters shall be final and binding.

  • Non-Refundable Charges: Shipping charges from the original order are strictly non-refundable under any circumstance.

  • Finality of Refunds: Refunds, once issued, are final, non-reversible, and cannot be modified.

  • Courier Guidance: Customers are strongly encouraged to use the courier service suggested by Valesi to ensure safe, reliable, and traceable returns. Valesi will not be responsible for lost, delayed, or mishandled returns shipped through unapproved channels.

All intellectual property assets, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, trade names, product designs, brand identity, logos, photography, and personality rights, are the exclusive property of Valesi. These rights are legally protected and cannot be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or repurposed in any manner without Valesi’s prior written consent. Any unauthorized use will be considered an infringement of our rights and dealt with strictly under applicable law.
